The Hula Girl  - 65ft. Sailing Catamaran
Sailing Maui Inc. is pleased to announce the arrival of a brand new 65x35 ft, state-of -the-art, multi-million dollar, custom charter catamaran to add to our fleet.  Our goal is to provide a "Sailing Restaurant & Bar", with seating for up to 49 guests for lunch or dinner service at comfortable tables with cushioned seating, as well as providing live entertainment for the dinner sail and special occasions.  The design allows room for musicians and a small dance floor.  We are able to roll down vinyl widows with panoramic views during times of inclement weather.  Two trips a day will be offered.  A 5 hr. (9:30am to 2:30 pm) snorkel /dive trip, and a 2 hr. sunset/dinner sail.  The vessel is stunningly beautiful, with sleek lines and hand painted graphics, including a larger than life Hula Dancer on each bow.  The boat is equipped with all the best gear, including 16 scuba sets and it's own compressor to refill the tanks.  A "Fly Bridge that houses the helm station has couch type seating for 12 guests with 2 cocktail tables.  This area is known as the V.I.P. lounge.   The over-all impression you get upon first seeing and stepping aboard this boat is hard to describe.  There is simply nothing else like it anywhere in the world.  You know you have made the right choice, and the excitement and anticipation of a great experience is in the air.

"Hula Girl" Maui's Only Sailing Restaurant & Bar
This catamaran has been built with a  full commercial galley that would be the envy of many a chef.  It is approved by the Department of Health to provide cooked to order food service.  Our talented chefs are creating a "Pacific Rim Ala Carte Menu" that is sure to please.  Guests will be able to order ala carte from an extensive menu, choosing from simple fare to elegant fish dishes.  A full bar will provide  a cocktail selection to include everything from tropical drinks, imported beers, fine wines by the bottle or by the glass, and liquors.  This allows guests to customize the excursion to fit their budget and desires.

Scuba Diving Option
Custom designed to offer guests a full scuba program, with 2 professional dive instructors on board offering up to 12 divers introductory or certified dives.  Two large dive platforms on the stern of this magnificent catamaran will provide divers with a comfortable area to gear up, with easy water entries and returns at the  swim steps.  Brand new dive equipment will be included in the cost of a one tank dive.  For the scuba diver traveling with non-diving snorkeling family members this will be the perfect excursion for all!

Evening Sails with Live Entertainment (APRIL 1 - SEPTEMBER 7)
Nightly Hawaiian entertainment featuring local musicians playing all the classics in addition to guests favorites and requests.  The sound system aboard the "Hula Girl" is state of art with three individually controlled zones, the foredeck, the main salon and the fly bridge.  Our musician's only need to plug their guitars into the wall jackets with the amplifiers and mixer board already built into the system.  There is a total of twelve speakers and four sub woofers placed strategically around the yacht, so even guests enjoying the views out on deck can hear the crisp quality sounds.  Guests who have already made dinner plans on shore can choose from an extensive selection of appetizers and enjoy the show, or this can be their main event of the evening with dinner on board.

True Sailing
As passionate sailors who have been providing catamaran tours in West Maui for the past 36 years, it was essential to us that our new vessel be a smooth, fast, sleek, sailing yacht, capable of true sailing in the light winds off Lahaina or steady trade winds of Kapalua.  With the 97 ft. rotating wing mast, electric winches, spectra laminate high tech sails,  even a light air reacher on a bow sprit, the "Hula Girl" will be providing guests with a sailing experience unparalleled by any charter service in Hawaii.

Special  Features and Lay Out
Our upscale charter service has stood apart from the competition by providing Maui's visitors with luxury and comfort.    Our catamarans all feature custom sun bathing cushions and cushioned seating.  The "Hula Girl" will not be an exception, and  guests will be able to enjoy our trademark body size cushions on the two large trampolines, a full couch seat in front of the mast,  and cushioned bench seating around the nets.  The main salon is air conditioned for guests' dining comfort. The five booths feature eight granite table tops and cushioned seating accommodating 44 guests, in addition to the top deck with couch seating and dinning for up to six guests.  The port hull is also air-conditioned, and features both men's and ladies rest rooms, as well as a ladies lounge/powder room (great for changing and primping).  There is also a large private shower stall in this hull as well as 3 on-deck fresh water hot showers and many other accessories to ensure guests a pleasurable excursion.  This truly is a state-of -the-art catamaran and then some!
